The Highfield Level 2 Award in Low Airspace Awareness (RQF) has been designed to give learners an introduction in Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS).
Who is this qualification for?
The objective of this qualification is to give learners introductory knowledge in Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS). The mandatory content of this qualification covers the Drone Code, what a drone is and how it works, counter drone technologies and measures, legal and ethical considerations when encountering drones in low airspaces, current and potential threats, completing threat assessments and risk management, and the practical applications and continuous development of low airspace security.
How long will it take?
To complete this qualification learners should expect to undertake 7 hours of learning, typically over one day.

Assessment method
The examination for this qualification contains 40 multiple choice questions that must be completed within 60 minutes. Successful learners must achieve a score of at least 28 out of 40 (70%) to gain a pass
This qualification is suitable for learners over the age of 16.
