This Ofqual approved qualification has been developed specifically for insertion onto the Regulated Qualifications Framework with full support from People 1st, the Sector Skills Council for Hospitality, Leisure, Travel and Tourism. It is therefore fully compliant with industry and regulatory standards as well as being recognised by environmental health practitioners, auditors and other enforcement officers.
This qualification is achieved by completing a quiz book (6-8 hours) followed by a two day classroom based course. It is assessed by a multiple-choice examination, where the candidates must answer atleast 30 out of 45 questions correctly. A Distinction is awarded to candidates scoring 36 or more. The examination will take a maximum of 90 minutes to complete.
