Who is this qualification for?
This qualification is designed to support a role in the workplace for learners working or preparing to work in retail or in licensed premises offering age-restricted products and/or services. It allows learners to choose between 5 different pathways, depending on their specific job role:
- Retail
- Licensed hospitality
- Gambling
- Restricted entertainment
- Body modification
How long will it take?
This qualification is suitable for learners over the age of 16. It is delivered over 6 hours.
Topics covered
These include current legislation relating to the sale and purchase of age-restricted products and how to prevent unlawful sales of age-restricted products.
Assessment method
This qualification is assessed by multiple-choice test.
Progression opportunities include the Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders.
Open courses cost £60 per person. The course package is fully inclusive of tuition, examination fees and a course handbook. Free follow up support will also be available from your tutor.
