This qualification will provide an understanding of safeguarding which can be used in a workplace, activity group or other environment where a person has contact with children or adults at risk.
The qualification provides learners with the knowledge to identify a safeguarding concern, listen and appropriately record a disclosure, and report to the appropriate person. It is regulated in the UK and awarded by First Aid Awards (FAA).

Entry requirements
The qualification is available to learners aged 14 or over. It is recommended that learners hold a minimum of level 1 in literacy or equivalent to undertake this qualification
Qualification assessment
The qualification is assessed through a written assessment and graded pass or referred.
